Seattle is the loudest city in American sport and can prove it — the noise at Lumen Field has twice registered on seismographs and once set a Guinness record.

El panorama
The Seahawks turned the twelfth man into a genuine home advantage. The Sounders draw crowds that would place them mid-table in most European leagues and were supporting soccer seriously long before MLS was fashionable. The Mariners hold the longest active playoff drought in North American sport, which the city carries with dark humour. The Kraken arrived in 2021 into a hockey market that had waited decades.
Rivalidades que importan
Seahawks–49ers is the sharpest rivalry in the NFC West. The Cascadia Cup, contested between the Sounders, Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps, is the most genuinely hostile rivalry in MLS and predates the league itself.
Dónde verlo
Pioneer Square before a match — the march to the stadium from Occidental Park is a real ritual rather than a marketing exercise. Ballard and Capitol Hill for everything else.
