The scene
The Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in world sport and play at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, between the two cities. The Mavericks won the 2011 title. The Stars brought the Stanley Cup to Texas in 1999. The Rangers won their first World Series in 2023, sixty-two years after the franchise began.
Rivalries that matter
Cowboys–Eagles and Cowboys–Commanders are NFC East fixtures with decades behind them. Rangers–Astros is the state rivalry and has recently been the best of them.
