The scene
Oriole Park at Camden Yards opened in 1992 with a brick warehouse along right field and an asymmetric outfield, and within a decade almost every new ballpark in the country was imitating it. The Ravens play next door at M&T Bank Stadium; the franchise arrived from Cleveland in 1996, twelve years after the Colts left Baltimore overnight in moving trucks.
Rivalries that matter
Ravens against Steelers is the most physical rivalry in the AFC North and the games are routinely decided by a field goal. The Orioles' division puts them against the Yankees and Red Sox eighteen or nineteen times a year.
Where to watch
Federal Hill and the bars along Cross Street; the places by the Camden Yards gates fill hours before first pitch.
