The Chinese Professional Baseball League plays through the humid Taipei summer with crowds that would look respectable in NPB. PTS and the Liberty Times sports desk cover the league in Traditional Chinese with daily depth that English-language aggregators never touch. Basketball has a professional league too, but CPBL is what fills the sports pages.
